We deliver in the Wellington region only at the moment, this includes Wellington Central Suburbs, Porirua and The Hutt Valley.

Why Use Handy Crates?
Handy crates are durable, eco friendly, require no construction and stack on top of each other for easy storage and moving.
How big are your crates?
The crates are approx 67 litres. (54OmmL x 370mm W x 370mm D.)
Load it
Simply load up your plastic moving boxes yourself and move them to your new place.
What can be packed in the moving boxes?
You can pack any household items into the boxes and will carry a much heavier load than a traditional cardboard box.
Can I pack fragile items?
Yes, these are great for protecting fragile items, make sure you pack the fragile items with towels or something soft to cushion them.
Will my stuff stay dry?
Yes the handy moving crates are good at keeping your items dry so long as they are fully shut and secured with ties.
What should I avoid loading?
Not much, however be careful when loading liquids to have them up right in the box and unable to move around.
Move it
If you need a truck or a van to hire please get in touch as we can hire a high quality truck or van to you for your move.
How high should I stack my moving crates?
The moving crates are very durable and can be stacked up to 3 high on the dolly and up to 5 high in the truck or van.
Are my items covered if any damage were to occur during the move?
Unfortunately not, it is your responsibility to safely pack your items and safely store them in the moving truck or van.
Unpack it
Unload your crates and stack them back up and we will come to your new place to collect them.
How long do we have to unpack the crates?
We suggest you get them a few days before your move so you have plenty of time to unpack the crates when you arrive at the new place.
What happens if I am not unpacked when the crates are due to be collected?
You can always call us to extend the time you have the crates for, please note you will be charged for another week.
